HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICAH!!! 22 - Whooo Hoooo!

This is might be what Micah is doing on his 22nd birthday - March 14, 2007!

Or he could be involved in his profitable
past time...

He probably would prefer to be in Auburn
with Alli...

...and all his friends
- BUT - we know he is working hard and is dedicated to getting the job he is assigned to do - DONE IN IRAQ.

So let's surround him with thoughts, prayers and love - so he knows that we celebrate the day he was born and the man he has become.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICAH!

WE LOVE YOU and THANK GOD FOR YOU!

Hey Micah and everyone...

Happy Birthday Micah! I hope you have a special day, I know you're in Iraq and that is kind of hard to do. I just can't believe that 22 years ago today you were born. I hope you got part of your present. I sent it last Tues. If not you should be getting it soon, the other half of your present went to your mom and dad's place. Elise said that you would like it. You know me, it could be something really good or something really goofy (you'll just have to open it and see)! You can open it when you come home in May along with your Christmas present (I can guarantee your Christmas present is goofy, I don't know what I was thinking)!

This is the day which the Lord has made. Rejoice and be glad in it. I know I will because 22 years ago today you became part of my life and this day will alway be very special in my heart! I'm so proud of you!

**** HAPPY 22ND BIRTHDAY MICAH ****

From Homer
I have no idea where all the messages I have sent have gone. I never see them once I hit the magic button. I will keep trying. I sent a happy birthday present to AL. I could not forget that day. Your Great Uncle Johnny would have shared your special day. I think of you daily and speak about you often to my friends. Everyone else has already written how proud we are of you. Ditto my thoughts too.
Take care.

Hey Micah and everyone...

I hope you are all doing well.

I'm getting spring fever real bad and I have no idea what to do on Sunday afternoons and evenings now that football is over. Uncle Jeff is into Basketball (March Madness) but it's just not the same as football! We went to 4 I.U. home games here in Bloomington and I got to see John Melloncamp there. When he is home (he lives near Monroe) he goes to all the UI games. It's kind of cool! So that was the exciding thing for me to see at the Basketball game. Oh well, maybe it will grow on me. We also got court seat for a Pacer game, but with all the bad publicity I have not really been into them. We were so close we could hear Jermine O'Neil curse. It was much more exciding when and Reggie Miller was playing. Did I ever tell you that the last season he played we got court seats, and yes... Reggie Miller fell on me and our old neighbor Jane, he was all sweaty...gross ....now that is something to brag about!

I got to go to Cirque Du Soleil at Conseco Fieldhouse on the 9th of March. It was awesome. You and Alli have to go if it come to Birmingham, you guy would love it!! I also saw Larry the Cable Guy at Ball State Unv. You have to see him too. I laughed so hard I...well we won't get into that! You get the picture. He is sooooo funny!

Well there really isn't anything new yet, we still have not found a house in Martinsville so we are still in good old Greenwood. We've been looking for a year. I'm hoping something will come along soon, the drive is getting to me. I think we are just being to picky. But Jeff wants a walk-out basement and I want a big master bedroom with walk-in closets. The problem is that most of the communities will not allow us to have a fence and you know with Moe, Larry and Curly (Jonah, Kayla and Angus...for those of you who are tuning in, they are our dogs not kids) we have to have a fence and a little bit of land. We'll find it, I know it's out there!

Well I have blah blah blah long enough. Please take good care of yourself and remember you are never alone, God is alway with you.

Love you...

Crazy Aunt Kathy

Hi Micah,

You are in our thoughts and prayers everyday. This is Scott's standing prayer everynight right before he goes to sleep... "God bless Micah and all the other soldiers in Iraq."

Scott is off from school this week for Easter break. He and Uncle Jeff are at Busch Gardens whilst I work - bummer!

Take care - I can't wait until you get back home.

Love,

Aunt JoAnn

Hey Micah and everyone... I hope all is well!

Same old thing happening in Indy only we decided to put our house on the market to see how it would do and in less than a week we have had 18 calls, who said the market is slow? We may be moving into a rental until we find a house that is just right. That's a little scary with 3 dogs! I hate the thought of moving twice and at my old age (I'm still a lot younger than your dad...haha), I just don't have the energy that I use to, Jeff either! I am hoping by the grace of God all will work out.

Also I have decided to go to realestate school at night. I figure if I can process mortgages I can sell a house. I start classes Monday night and it's for nine weeks, two nights a week! I'm really excided!

Speaking of old (HAHA), today is your Uncle Jeff T. 's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE JEFF!!!!

I can't believe that you will be taking your leave in less then a month now...yahoo! I can't wait to see you...I've been marking the calendar for the count down! I take it you are still able to come home!

Well work is picking up and I'm out of thing to say already, I know, I will never run out of things to say, so I have to end this now.

May God be with you and the troops, you are always in my prayers!

Take care, God Bless and know that you are loved...Crazy Aunt Kathy

Dear Micah,

We are all looking forward to your return to the States!

Uncle Jeff went up to see Uncle Scott in Boston this past weekend. This coming weekend, we will be up to see Homer. Last weekend was the first really warm weekend of Spring. It felt so nice to be out doing yardwork and visiting with neighbors.

Scotty is plugging away at school. He is doing very well.

Not much else - except that we are thinking of you everyday.

Take care and God bless.

Love,

Aunt JoAnn

Hey Micah and everyone... I hope that everyone is doing well.

I can't believe you'll be coming home in a few days! I just can't wait to hear the words that you are on U.S.A. soil safe and sound. The days can't go fast enough!

I've started school and dog-gone-it, it's sinkin hard. First let me just say I have not gone to school in 24 years so I am so out of practice for studying and there is so much memorizing that my little brain can not hold it all...yikes...scary! WHAT COULD I'VE BEEN THINKING???!!! Oh well, I have four test I have to take, 3 in class and then the state test. We have a 100 questions for each test. I just hope I can complete it durning the allowable time. Well the way I look at it is that I tried my hardest and I study everyday and night, except durning LOST, America Idol, Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives and House. All my favorite shows.

We just got the first offer on the our house. It really stunk so we countered with our listing price we were that mad and made it firm! I'll tell ya later about it when we see you!

Oh by the way, when we do see you, Jeff and I would love to take you and Alli out on the town one night, we hear you like to karaoke! That would be such a blast!

Well got to get back to work!

Take care, God Bless and know that you are Loved!!

Hey Micah and everyone...

Let me be the first to say on your blog "Congrats on your engagement" and Alli, "Welcome to the family". I'll have a new niece-in law...yeah! I couldn't be happier for you both! I want you, Micah, to know how thrilled I am that you have found someone to love and that makes you so happy that you want to spend the rest of your life with her. Love is what all about. I'm so proud!

And I am so happy that you are home safe and sound on your leave and I can't wait to see you and the rest of the family for Elise's Graduation on the 22nd. How can I have a nephew getting married and a niece graduating, I'm way too young for that. If you make one comment on that last remark, I'll be taking you out of my Will..haha!

Any way I just wanted to say congrats and that I love you and miss you.

God Bless, take care and know that you are loved.

Hey Micah and everyone...I hope everyone is well!

I just mailed you out a package yesterday...you need to fatten up a little (a lot)!! There are some pictures too and Elise's graduation program. Yes, I am a witness, Elise graduated! YIPPEE!

I can't begin to tell you how much fun we had with you and Alli (whom we just love to death already...you did good Micah). I can't wait to play Apples to Apples again, Alli cracked me up. I won't get into bowling, hummmm who got a 180? Don't mess with Crazy Aunt Kathy!!

May 22nd was one of the hardest day of my life, taking you to the airport for you to go back to Iraq. yuk! I had a whole speech prepared and as you know I could barely get out "I love you". Maybe it's best. I wanted to tell you Thank you for fighting for me and everyone. You truely are a hero and that makes me love you all the more, I couldn't be any more prouder of you!

Also that night, Elise graduated. What a roller coaster ride of emotions!

I think about you in Iraq all the time and the wedding next summer (bring on the champaign, as you know I just need one glass), but mostly you in Iraq. Time will never go fast enough for me as long as you are there! 3 more months, I guess that's not too bad...YAHOO!

Please be careful.

Take care, God Bless and know that you are Loved!

Message From Homer

Your family may be coming to visit. I am very excited as I missed the trip in May. Hope to have new knees by next summer. It is hard to plan when I have to depend on folks for rides after the surgeries. Oh well, I will do my best.
Trust all is well with you and those around you. See ya soon.
Love from
